ABOUT US
We are folks who love the Weimaraner breed and enjoy doing things with our dogs. Our goal is to uphold the quality of the Weimaraner breed, to encourage responsible dog ownership, to enjoy our dogs in competition events and to share our interest and activities with other Weimaraner owners.
San Francisco Bay Weimaraner Club was formed in 1991 and is sanctioned by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Weimaraner Club of America (WCA). We hold AKC Weimaraner Specialty conformation and obedience Shows, Agility trials along with AKC Field and Hunt Test trials and WCA Rating tests.
These events provide an opportunity for Weimaraner owners to obtain AKC titles on their dogs. Members also are involved in training and workshops for Agility, Rally and tracking. We also offer field training days and hold social events for the whole family. A newsletter is published once a month giving information on area events, club activities, member and dog successes and Weimaraners and dogs in general.
If you have a Weimaraner and would like to become involved in activities with your dog, we invite you to join the San Francisco Bay Weimaraner Club. This will also provide an opportunity to meet other Weimaraner owners who enjoy their dogs.
